Hey Reader —

This book, this work, this movement—it all began with a single question:

Where are the others?

Making change—resisting the system—leaves you exhausted, bruised, and often feeling alone. I remember looking around and wondering:

Is anyone else out here in the struggle?

Not because I needed help. I just needed to know I wasn’t crazy.

When I finally emerged—not unscathed, but changed—the question stayed with me. But now, I didn’t just want to find the others. I wanted to gather them.

I wanted to offer what I never had: not more tools or training, but solidarity. Connection. Strength to keep going when everything tells you to stop.

That’s when the real vision took hold: to gather the changemakers.

It’s the reason I’m writing Liberate the Leaders. Not just to name the problem or map the journey, but to give this invisible community an identity, a language, a people.

Soon, we’ll launch a small, intentional online fellowship—space for names, stories, and real relationships to form.

But even that isn’t the endgame.

The real vision is a global movement. A leadership class bound not by position, but by purpose. Changemakers who know and draw strength from each other.

And that brings me to what’s next.

This newsletter is about to transform.

Starting next week, it becomes The Front Line—a weekly dispatch for underground changemakers.

Not content marketing. Not guru tips. Not performative thought leadership.

The Front Line is our signal fire—a subversive press for those embedded in systems but restless in spirit.

Its purpose is to:

  • Awaken the underground changemakers
  • Expose what’s really shaping power and leadership
  • Seed stories, symbols, and solidarity
  • And connect those who know—deep down—they were born for something more

We’re not organizing the Leadership Class. But we are naming it. Resourcing it. Calling it to rise—in homes, schools, congregations, and workplaces.

The goal isn’t to build a massive email list. It’s to find the changemakers—and forge them in spirit—no matter how few in number.

If that’s not you, no worries. We wish you luck with your goals.

If you’re not sure you belong here—stick around. It’ll soon become clear.

There’s work to be done. It’s called leadership. Real, genuine leadership.

For at least the following three issues, we’re sending the signal to the changemakers—from the front line. As an experiment.

When it lands in your inbox, we’d love your feedback.

More to come,

Dan
